英文摘要:The researching progress of metallic materials irradiated by high-intensity pulsed ion beams(HIPIB) was reviewed. The structure and working principle of TIA-450 type machine were introduced. The characteristics and mechanisms of interaction of HIPIB, thermal-mechanical effects, strengthening mechanism and effect of HIPIB were summarized. The developmental trend was pointed out.
