英文摘要：Based on the characteristics of the roller with variable height spiral groove and variable pitch groove in grinding ball skew rolling machine，taking ?准38 mm grinding ball as an example, the parameters of the roller was calculated, the design method of the roller was described，which overcomed the difficulties about the roller design and manufacture, and provided a theoretical basis for solid modeling and CNC machining of the roller. The designed roller has high production efficiency, high utilization of materials and good quality.
