Abstract:
Taking vacuum melting Mg-3Li and Mg-3Li-1Sc alloys as experimental materials, the electroless nickel plating was carried out in the solution with Ni
2SO
4 as main salt. Taking the ratio of main salt and reducing agent, plating temperature and time as variables, the orthogonal test was carried out.The morphologies of plating nickel layers were observed and their corrosion resistances were tested in 3.5%NaCl solution.The results show that the nickel plating layers of these two alloys have higher corrosion resistance formed in the condition of 1:1 concentration ratio of Ni
2SO
4 and reductive agent; the optimized temperature and plating time is 90 ℃/3 h for Mg-3Li alloy and 80 ℃/2 h for Mg-3Li-1Sc alloy.
