Abstract:
In order to solve the problem that it is difficult to use traditional process for upsetting extrusion of high-ribs thin plate parts, a rotary forging process was presented. Using Deform 3D software, the finite element model of rotary forging forming of aluminum alloy thin plate with high reinforcement was established and the forming process of rotary forging was simulated. The effects of swing angle, feed amount per rotation and friction factor on the filling capacity and forming load of thin plate parts were studied, and the metal flow law of the blank under the local action of the swinging head was obtained.
