Abstract:
During the punching and forging process of a double-cylindrical part, due to small sheet material wall thickness, folding and springback defects are easy to occur in the process of upsetting and thickening. The effects of different elastic modulus, initial yield stress and strain hardening index on springback angle were studied, and the effects of different wall thickness on material folding in stamping and forging process were studied. The results show that the material springback defect is easy to occur on the side of the double-cylinder parts in the process of stamping and forging. Increasing the elastic modulus of the material can reduce the springback angle of the side wall. When the initial yield stress of the material is increased, the springback angle of the side wall is correspondingly increased. When the strain hardening index of the material is increased, the springback angle of the side wall increases first and then decreases.
