Abstract:
In order to ensure the mechanical properties of high strength steel, many alloying elements are often added to the steel, of which Mn, Si and Al are the most common used. The oxidation behavior of alloy elements after hot rolled plate of high strength steel was studied. The results show that during the coiling process in hot rolling, Mn, Al and other alloying elements preferentially combine with oxygen element to form an enriched layer between the matrix and the iron oxide. The Mn and Al elements show different distribution states between the matrix and the iron oxide scale, and the Al element shows a concentrated distribution trend, while the distribution of the Mn element is more dispersed, and it shows a trend of diffusion to the iron oxide scale. The coiling temperature has an obvious effect on the oxidation enrichment of Si. When the coiling temperature is low, Si elements do not form obvious oxidation enrichment at the interface position, but when the coiling temperature is high, the Si elements will form obvious enrichment between the iron oxide scale and the matrix.
