Abstract:
A test device simulating lead-bismuth corrosion was designed and manufactured to study the corrosion behavior of 316L stainless steel weld in liquid LBE and the influence of solid solution treatment on the corrosion resistance of 316L stainless steel weld. The results show that the corrosion type of liquid LBE on 316L weld is mainly oxidation corrosion, and the surface of the samples were all formed with double oxidation layer, the outer layer is mainly Fe
3O
4 and PbFe
4O
7,porous, and the inner layer is mainly FeCr
2O
4, relatively dense. Solid solution treatment can make weld austenite structure more uniform, reduce defects, and effectively prevent the corrosion penetration of liquid LBE, thus the corrosion resistance of 316L weld improves.
