Abstract:
Laser coating technology can be used to improve the surface properties of materials or to manufacture and remanufacture metal parts, and has a broad application prospect. Laser cladding is often accompanied by intense physical and chemical reactions, and the heating and cooling rate is fast, so it is difficult to measure the transient temperature field in practical processing. Because the finite element numerical simulation has the characteristics of short period, fast speed and cost saving, it has been applied in the analysis and prediction of laser coating temperature field. The research status and progress in the field of numerical simulation of laser coating temperature field were reviewed, and the achievements in finite element modeling, temperature field distribution and verification of simulation results were summarized. The shortcomings were analyzed and the development direction in the future was prospected.
