Abstract:
In view of the problem that aluminum alloy matrix and cast iron cylinder sleeve are not tight in automobile engine Al-Fe bimetallic cylinder block, the bonding process of aluminum-iron bimetallic interface in gypsum casting cylinder block was studied. The effects of different preheating temperature, different hot-dip temperature and different hot-dip time on the interface bonding combining between aluminum alloy cylinder block and cylinder liner were studied by orthogonal test. The best technological parameter was acquired through the macro and micro interface analysis, the interface crack rate analysis and the strength analysis. The experimental results show that when the hot dipping temperature is 780℃, the preheating temperature is 350℃ and the hot dipping time is 250 s, the interface of aluminum-iron reach the best bonding result, the interface crack rate is 3.1%, and the bonding strength reaches 77 MPa.
