(TiC-TiB2)-Ni复合材料与Ti的同步扩散连接

    Synchronous Diffusion Bonding of (TiC-TiB2)-Ni Composites with Metal Ti

    • 摘要: 为克服陶瓷材料脆性大的缺点,采用自蔓延高温合成法(SHS)实现(TiC-TiB2)-Ni复合陶瓷的制备及其与Ti板的同步扩散连接,中间采用TiAl过渡层。采用扫描电镜(SEM)对试样连接界面和剪切断口的形貌进行了观察,采用硬度和剪切强度对连接界面的力学性能进行表征。试验结果表明,以TiAl金属化合物作为过渡层,可以使(TiC-TiB2)-Ni复合陶瓷与Ti板产生有效连接,连接层的宽度约为1100μm。TiAl金属化合物的存在使得连接界面的硬度过渡较为平缓。在1500 A电流和60 MPa辅助压力下,连接接头的剪切强度可以达到85.87 MPa。

       

      Abstract: In order to overcome the shortcomings of high brittleness of ceramic materials, self-propagating high temperature synthesis(SHS) was used to achieve the preparation of(TiC-TiB2)-Ni composite ceramics and its synchronous diffusion connection with Ti plate, and a TiAl transition layer in the middle was used during the connection. Scanning electron microscopy(SEM) was used to observe the morphology of the specimen’s connection interfaces and the shear fracture. The hardness and shear strength were used to characterize the mechanical properties of the connection interfaces. The test results show that using TiAl metal compounds as the transition layer, the(TiC-TiB2)-Ni composite ceramics can be effectively connected with the Ti plate, and the total width of the connection layer is about 1100 μm. The presence of TiAl metal compound makes the hardness transition of the connection interface smoothly. Under the current of 1500 A and auxiliary pressure of 60 MPa, the shear strength of the connection joint can reach 85.87 MPa.
