Abstract:
Design characteristics of metal-based ZTA ceramic composites, wear morphology and material structure design characteristics of medium-speed grinding roll shell and liner were introduced. The operation effect and economic benefit of surfacing welding technology and metal-based ceramic composite roll shell and liner were compared and analyzed.The results show that the "porous" structure design of the composite can improve the overall wear resistance of the material.Wear resistance of metal-based ceramic composites roll shell and liner are 2.7 times higher than that of surfacing high chromium alloy. The application of metal-based ceramic composites to medium-speed grinding roll shell and liner have high cost-performance ratio, which can meet the requirements of long-term maintenance in power plant.
