Abstract:
The high carbon H13 steel used for shield cutter ring was heat treated at different quenching temperatures. The mechanical properties, wear resistance and surface residual stress were tested, and the metallographic structure was observed. The influence of different quenching temperatures on the surface residual stress and wear resistance was analyzed. The results show that, with the increase of quenching temperature, the average value of residual compressive stress on the surface of the samples increases obviously when the quenching temperature is higher than 1060 ℃. The wear resistance is better when the temperature is 1050-1090 ℃. The impact toughness decreases obviously when the temperature is higher than 1070 ℃.Comprehensive analysis shows that the sample has good performance and reasonable surface residual pressure when the quenching temperature is 1060 ℃.
