Abstract:
Combining the advantages of laser and arc, the laser-arc hybrid welding technology could improve the welding efficiency and welding quality effectively, the application prospect is very wide, which has attracted the attention by the researchers around the world. The current development of laser-arc hybrid welding was introduced, the composite methods of heat sources and the details of their interaction mechanism including droplet transition analysis, keyhole and molten pool analysis were described. Meanwhile, the development of laser-arc hybrid welding detection technology was also prospected.
