Abstract:
For welding of brass Type-C interface, the maximum 100 W fiber green laser with wavelength of 532nanometer was used for welding experiment. The three factors three levels orthogonal experiment with laser power, welding speed and spiral distance as factors was carried out. When the average laser power is 80 W, the welding speed is 40 mm/s and the spiral distance is 0.08mm,the tensile force of the welding joint is the largest, which reaches 118 N and no breakdown occurs in the substratum materials, which are the best technology parameters. By using this parameter, the Type-C interface was welded and the solder joint was sliced and analyzed. The results show that no pore exists in welds, part of upper and lower brass materials enters into opposite side, a fine mixed joint is formed, which can improve the strength of spot welds.
