    Role of Sb Element in Casting Al-Si Alloy

    • 摘要: 对Sb元素在Al-Si合金中的作用研究进行了总结与分析。可以得出:Sb元素对Al-Si合金的初生α-Al枝晶和共晶Si都有影响;Sb元素的变质与冷却速率有关,存在过变质现象,Sb元素会形成Al Sb、Mg3Sb2等,可导致Sb过变质;Sb元素是长效变质剂,有一定的孕育期,有良好的重熔性且重熔后无孕育期。Sb的变质机理研究还没有一致结论。Sb元素对Al-Si合金的流动性等也有影响。Sb元素对人体和环境会造成一定的危害。本文还指出了现有研究的不足以及未来的研究方向。

       

      Abstract: The role of Sb element in Al-Si alloys was summarized and analyzed. It can be concluded that Sb element has influence on primary α-Al dendrite and eutectic Si of Al-Si alloy. The modification of Sb element is related to cooling rate,and there is a phenomenon of over-modification. Sb element forms Al Sb, Mg3Sb2, etc., which can lead to Sb over-modification. Sb element is a long-acting modifier, has a certain incubation period, good remelting and no incubation period after remelting. The study of Sb modification mechanism has not consistent conclusion. Sb element also affects the fluidity of Al-Si alloys. Sb element will cause certain harm to human body and environment. The shortcomings of the existing research and the future research direction were also pointed out.
