Abstract:
The argon arc welding tests of 0Cr18Ni9 austenitic stainless steel EH tubing were carried out by using non-pulse current and pulse currents with different pulse width ratio. The effect of different welding process on the structure and properties of the 0Cr18Ni9 austenitic stainless steel EH tubing welded joint was studied. The results show that the weld structure of the steel is austenite+δ-ferrite. When pulse current is used for welding, the morphology of δ-ferrite is mainly wormlike and lathlike; and when non-pulse current is used for welding, the morphology of δ-ferrite is mainly skeletal, and the tensile properties of the EH tubing welded joint are optimal, the tensile strength is 649.5 MPa.
