熔模铸造用的含短切碳纤维硅溶胶涂料流变性研究

    Study on Rheological Properties of Silicon Sol Coatings Containing Short Carbon Fibers Used in Investment Casting

    • 摘要: 在熔模铸造硅溶胶涂料中加入0.10%~0.50%(占耐火粉料质量分数)的φ7.32 μm×3.0 mm短切碳纤维以增强型壳的强度,研究了不同纤维含量的制壳用涂料的流变性。结果表明,纤维加入量为0.30wt%时,涂料表观粘度值最高,达到150.35×10-3 Pa·s,与不加入纤维的涂料相比,表观粘度增加了22.58%。同时触变环面积达到最大值240.01 Pa·s-1,增加了约265.59%。纤维加入量对涂料的悬浮性影响不显著。纤维加入量为0.30wt%时,其悬浮率达到最高值(94.23%),与未加纤维的涂料相比,仅增加了3.41%。

       

      Abstract: The φ7.32 μm×3 mm short carbon fibers with 0.10%-0.50% (mass fraction of refractory powders in slurry)was added into the silica sol coating in investment casting to enhance the strength of the shell. The rheological properties of the coatings for shell making with different fiber content were studied. The results show that when the fiber content is 0.30wt%, the apparent viscosity of the coating is the highest, reaching 150.35×10 -3 Pa·s, and the apparent viscosity is increased by 22.58%compared with that of the coating without fiber. At the same time, the thixotropic ring area reaches the maximum value of 240.01 Pa·s-1, which increases by about 265.59%.The effect of fiber addition on the suspension of coating is not significant. When the amount of fiber is 0.30wt%, the suspension rate reaches the highest value (94.23%), which increases only 3.41%compared with that of the coating without fiber.
