Abstract:
High manganese steels has received wide attention of scientists from all over the world for its excellent mechanical properties, such as high strength, high elongation and high work hardening rate. The effects of alloying elements,stacking fault energy(SFE), deformation rates, deformation temperatures and the constraint effect on the mechanical properties of high manganese steel were reviewed, and the corresponding mechanism has been explained, which can provide some technologies and methods for investigating the high manganese steel in the future.
