WC含量对激光熔覆TC4涂层组织及性能的影响

    Effects of WC Content on Microstructure and Properties of TC4 Composite Prepared by Laser Cladding

    • 摘要: 采用激光熔覆技术在TC4基体表面制备了WC/TC4复合涂层,研究了WC含量对WC/TC4复合涂层截面组织、硬度和磨损率的影响。结果表明:随WC含量的增加,复合涂层逐渐出现α-Ti固溶体、Ti C、WC、W2C和W元素。WC质量分数为10%时,仍可观察到网篮组织;WC质量分数为20%时,熔覆层中的枝晶状和柱状Ti C尺寸更均匀且组织最致密,硬度最高,耐磨性最好;WC质量分数为30%时,Ti C密度虽高,但出现更多的颗粒状Ti C,导致涂层硬度和耐磨性降低。

       

      Abstract: WC particle reinforced TC4 composites were prepared by laser cladding technology. The effects of WC content on the microstructure of cross section, hardness and wear rate of the composite were investigated. The results indicate that with the increase of WC content, α-Ti solid solution, TiC, WC, W2C and W elements gradually appear in the composite.When the WC content is 10wt%, the basket structure could still be observed. When WC content is 20wt%, the dendrite and columnar tic in the cladding layer are more uniform, the microstructure is densest, the hardness is highest, and the wear resistance is best. When the mass fraction of WC is 30%, the Ti C density is high, but more granular TiC appear, which can lead to the decrease of hardness and wear resistance of the coating.
