Abstract:
By designing the continuous casting process parameters of medium carbon high manganese steel with different superheat temperatures and different casting speeds, the banded structure of continuous casting billet rolling under different technological parameters was compared and analyzed. The influence law of the continuous casting process parameters(superheat temperature and casting speed) on rolling band microstructure was studied. The results show that reducing the superheat temperature or the casting speed can improve macro-segregation of continuous casting billet, reduce the distance between secondary dendrite arms in solidification structure of continuous casting billet, and reduce the width of ferrite strip after rolling.
