Abstract:
Graphene(GNPs)reinforced AZ31 magnesium group composite with carbon nanotubes(CNTs)was prepared by powder metallurgy method, and then the effects of equal channel angular pressing (ECAP) on the microstructure and mechanical properties of the composites were investigated. The results show that ECAP can significantly refine the grains of the composite, and effectively improve its relative density, microhardness and strength. And the dominant strengthening mechanism for yield strength improvement is fine crystal reinforcement. In addition, the ECAP deformation basically does not change the fracture strain and fracture types of the composite.
