Abstract:
TiAlN-TiAlN/CrSiAlN-TiAlON multilayer coating and TiAlN single layer coating were prepared on Ti CN cermet substrate by arc ion plating, and the structure, oxidation resistance, hardness and friction and wear properties of the two coatings were compared and analyzed. The results show that the structure of TiAlN-TiAlN/CrSiAlN-TiAlON multilayer coating is compact, and transite natural between the sublayers. The oxidation resistance of TiAlN-TiAlN/CrSiAlN-TiAlON multilayer coating is excellent than that of TiAlN single layer coating. After heat preservation at 900 ℃ for 1 h, the microstructure of TiAlN coating is completely destroyed, and the structure of coating is completely transformed into a loose porous structure. The TiAlN-TiAlN/CrSiAlN-TiAlON multilayer coating only forms a loose porous structure at the interface between the outer layer and the substrate, and most of the middle layer and the inner layer are still relatively intact. Compared with TiAlN single-layer coating, TiAlN-TiAlN/CrSiAlN-TiAlON multi-layer coating has higher hardness. Under the condition of dry friction, the friction coefficient of TiAlN-TiAlN/CrSiAlN-TiAlON multilayer coating is low and the wear resistance is excellent. The wear mechanism of the multilayer coating is mainly oxidation wear, while the wear mechanism of TiAlN single layer coating is mainly abrasive wear and oxidation wear.
