Abstract:
Taking a GH4169 superalloy strap as the object, the numerical model of single point resistance spot welding was established firstly, and the effects of welding current, electrifying time and electrode pressure on the nugget size and temperature field were studied. Then, the multi-point resistance spot welding model was established to analyze the influence of the number and distribution of solder joints on the deformation of the workpiece after welding. The results show that the nugget size and penetration rate both increase with the increase of welding current and electrifying time, while they decrease with the increase of electrode pressure. The optimized parameters of single point resistance spot welding are described as follows:the welding current of 3.5 kA, the electrode pressure of 8.5kN, and the electrifying time of 0.20 s.In the multi-point welding, the welding deformation of the workpiece is minimal when the number of welding joints is 3 and the distance between the welding spots is 11 mm.
