Abstract:
Two cermet coatings (WC-Ni and WC-Cr
3C
2-Ni) were prepared on Q235 steel substrate by HVOF spraying technology.The electrochemical workstation was used to characterize the corrosion resistance of the coatings in different environments.The results show that the corrosion resistance of WC-Ni coating and WC-Cr
3C
2-Ni coating in 1 mol·L
-1 NaOH solution is lower than that in 1 mol·L
-1 HCl solution.WC-Ni coating and WC-Cr
3C
2-Ni coating are passivated in 1 mol·L
-1 HCl and 1 mol·L
-1 NaOH solution.The passivation film on the coating surface is beneficial to improving the corrosion resistance of the coating.The corrosion resistance of WC-Ni coating in 1 mol·L
-1 HCl solution is higher than that of WC-Cr
3C
2-Ni coating, while the corrosion resistance of WC-Ni coating in 1 mol·L
-1 NaOH solution is lower than that of WC-Cr
3C
2-Ni coating.
