Abstract: The principle, characteristics, classification of laser-GTAW hybrid welding technology and its research progress in titanium alloy were reviewed.The laser-arc hybrid welding technology was classified according to the type and spatial distribution of heat source. The research progress of laser-GTAW hybrid welding in titanium alloy was elaborated. The development direction of titanium alloy laser-GTAW hybrid welding technology was prospected.
