Abstract:
The solid soluted 00Cr17Ni13Mo2N stainless steel was subjected to cold rolling tests with different deformations. The effects of cold rolling deformation on the microstructure and hardness of the stainless steel were studied by OM, XRD and hardness test. The results show that the solid soluted 00Cr17Ni13Mo2N steel has a single austenitic microstructure.Deformation induced martensitic transformation occurs in the steel after cold rolling with different deformation. With the increase of cold rolling deformation, the volume fraction of α'- martensite in the steel increases gradually, and the hardness of the steel increases gradually. The volume fraction of α'- martensite in the steel with rolling deformation of 80%reaches 70.6%, and the hardness reaches 421 HV, which is 152.1%higher than that of test steel in solid solution.
