Abstract: The research results of friction stir welding (FSW) of aluminum alloys in China in recent years were summarized, focusing on five aspects: process parameters, corrosion and fatigue performance, defect repair process, simulation control research, new FSW process and equipment. And the research direction of friction stir welding was prospected based on the above research results.
