大直径棒材在锥形和圆台接头下连续驱动摩擦焊接的模拟研究

    Simulation on Continuously Driven Friction Welding of Large Diameter Rod under Joint Forms of Cone and Frustum

    • 摘要: 为了研究焊接面形状及其接触角度对连续驱动摩擦焊接的影响,利用有限元软件ABAQUS及其二次开发功能,对大直径D50Re钢材在平面-平面(A)、锥形-平面(B)、圆台-平面(C)3种接头形式和不同锥度角条件下进行了有限元模拟。相对于A形式,另外2种形式的接头在焊接面沿径向的温度和塑性应变(PEEQ)更大且均匀性更好;扭矩曲线出现许多峰值扭矩,其峰值扭矩小于A接头。焊接面的形状及其接触角度对连续驱动摩擦焊接具有重要影响,适当角度的锥形和圆台可以实现高质量的焊接。

       

      Abstract: In order to study the influence of welding surface shape and its contact angle on continuous drive friction welding, the finite element software ABAQUS and its secondary development function were used to simulate the large diameter D50Re steel under plane-plane(A), cone(top)-plane(B), frustum of a cone(top)-plane(C) three kinds of joints and different taper angles. Compared with the A joint, the other two joints produce higher temperature and equivalent plastic strain(PEEQ) with better uniformity, and the torque shows many peak torque, which is smaller than that of the A joint. The shape of the welding surface and its contact angle have an important influence on the continuous drive friction welding, and proper angle can achieve high-quality welding.
