600℃循环热处理对TA31和TC4ELI钛合金显微结构及力学性能的影响

    Effects of Cyclic Heat Treatment at 600℃on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TA31 and TC4ELI Titanium Alloy

    • 摘要: 采用光学显微镜(OM)、透射电子显微镜(TEM)和室温拉伸、冲击实验,研究了600℃循环热处理对TA31、TC4ELI钛合金组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明,经过6次循环热处理后,TA31和TC4ELI的屈服强度、抗拉强度均略微增加;冲击韧性则明显下降,且TA31变化幅度更大。循环次数增加到11次后,二者强度稍有降低,冲击韧性并未进一步恶化。伸长率在循环热处理前后无明显变化。热处理过程中无α2相析出对于循环热处理的TA31和TC4ELI钛合金,亚稳定β相的分解及细针状α相的长大是TA31和TC4ELI性能变化的主要原因。

       

      Abstract: The effects of cycle heat treatment at 600 ℃on the microstructure and mechanical properties of TA31 and TC4ELI titanium alloys were investigated by optical microscopy(OM), transmission electron microscopy(TEM), tensile test at room temperature and impact test.The results show that the yield strength and tensile strength of TA31 and TC4ELI slightly increase and the impact toughness decreases significantly after 6 cycles of heat treatment and the variation range of TA31 is larger than that of TC4ELI.As the cyclic times increases to 11, the strength of the two materials decreases slightly, and the impact toughness dose not deteriorate further.Percentage elongation fluctuates in a certain range before and after cyclic heat treatment, and the change is not obvious.No α2 phase is found in the microstructure characterization.For both TA31 and TC4ELI titanium alloy, during the cyclic heat treatment, the decomposition of the substable β phase and the growth of the thin needle α phase are the main reasons for the performance change of TA31 and TC4ELI.
