Abstract: The solutions to the related problems of the use of ferric stainless steel（FSS） linkers in the cathode active region of a solid oxide fuel cell（SOFC） were reviewed. The research progresses on the main approaches and characterizations of preparation Cu-Mn spinel coatings on FSS surface and property of the coatings were summarized, and the future development trend of this field was also discussed.
