Abstract:
The effects of different heat treatment processes on the mechanical properties of cast cobalt-chromium alloy dental stent+framework were studied by hardness test, tensile test and metallographic structure observation. The results show that compared with the cast cobalt-chromium alloy denture bracket without heat treatment, the hardness value increases significantly and the tensile force decreases after quenching. After annealing treatment, the hardness of the bracket is significantly reduced, and the tensile force increases slightly. After quenching-tempering treatment, the hardness of the stent decreases, and its reduction value is less than that of annealing treatment, and the tensile force increases significantly, and the increase is greater than that of annealing treatment. In summary, the comprehensive performance of the stent after quenching and tempering is the most ideal, and it meets the clinical requirements for the mechanical properties of cast cobalt-chromium alloy dental stents.
