Abstract:
Q690D high strength steel slabs were smelted with different electromagnetic stirring current parameters. The effects of electromagnetic stirring intensity on the central segregation and the lateral bending performance were studied, and the sulphur print, acid etching and in-situ analysis were conducted. The results show that the high strength steel smelting process in continuous casting process adopts the model of weak electromagnetic stirring(130 A), the central segregation of slab can be reduced effectively, which is beneficial to obtain good lateral bending property of the steel plate.
