Abstract:
In order to study the microstructure and high temperature properties of the multidirectional forging4Cr5MoSiV1 die steel, the multidirectional forging treatment of the die steel sample was carried out, and the die steel sample was compared with the die steel blank sample before the multidirectional forging. The microstructure of the sample, mechanical properties and wear resistance under the 450℃ high temperature test environment were tested and analyzed. The results show that the multi-directional forging significantly refines the internal grains, improves the internal microstructure of the sample, and significantly improves the high-temperature mechanical properties and high-temperature wear resistance of the sample. Compared with those of the specimen of 4Cr5MoSiV1 die steel blank before multi-directional forging, the tensile strength of the 4Cr5MoSiV1 die steel specimen after multi-directional forging increases by 60.78%, the yield strength increases by 73.54%, the wear volume decreases by 52.78% after 5 min of friction and wear, and the wear volume decreases by 55.76% after 20 min of friction and wear.
