    Cracking Failure Analysis of 34CrNiMo6 Blanks

    • 摘要: 34CrNiMo6毛坯在锻造和调质后发生批量性开裂现象。采用断口宏观观察、扫描电镜形貌观察、化学成分分析、金相组织和硬度测试,对毛坯开裂原因进行了分析。结果显示:裂纹起于锻造过程,后期淬火过程中裂纹继续扩展导致开裂失效。

       

      Abstract: 34CrNiMo6 blanks cracked after forging and tempering. The cracking reason of the 34CrNiMo6 blanks was analyzed by macroscopic fracture observation, SEM morphology observation, chemical composition analysis, metallographic examination and hardness test. The results show that the crack starts in the forging process. And it continues to expand during the later quenching process, eventually leads to cracking failure.
