Abstract:
The common failure forms and causes of 2A97 aluminum lithium alloy extruded profiles during heat treatment were analyzed, and the targeted preventive measures were discussed. The results show that anti-corrosion oil can easily form black, C and O rich coating layer on the material surface after heat treatment, and it potentially causes overheating. The overburning defect greatly increases the production probability of cracks in the subsequent cold processing process, and the surface of the profile before heat treatment should ensure no combustible pollutants. The appearance damage produced in the heat treatment is difficult to repair in the later stage, and the single-layer arrangement and tilt binding method is optimal for defect prevention. The mechanical properties of aluminum lithium alloy profile is closely related to whether it is pre-stretched after solid solution treatment. Under the condition of 1%-2% pre-tensile amount, the tensile strength and yield strength of the profile are significantly improved, and the elongation meets the performance requirements.
