超声喷丸强化对连杆用42CrMo4钢疲劳性能的影响

    Effect of Ultrasonic Shot Peening on Fatigue Properties of 42CrMo4 Steel for Connecting Rod

    • 摘要: 为了提高某型柴油机连杆用42CrMo4钢的使用寿命和服役质量,首先采用超声喷丸强化工艺对其进行了处理,研究了功率、撞针直径和走刀速度对其表面粗糙度、表层硬度等表面完整性的影响规律。之后根据国家相关标准,设计了超声喷丸强化疲劳试验件,开展了超声喷丸强化工艺处理试验件的高周疲劳试验,并对其试验结果与传统喷丸结果进行分析。最后,通过扫描电子显微镜对疲劳断口进行了表征,观察了微观组织的演化规律,揭示了疲劳损伤失效机理。

       

      Abstract: In order to improve the service life and service quality of 42CrMo4 steel for connecting rod of a diesel engine, the ultrasonic shot peening process was used to treat the 42CrMo4 martensitic steel. The effects of power, pin diameter and tool speed on surface integrity such as surface roughness and surface hardness were studied. Then, according to the relevant national standards, the ultrasonic shot peening strengthened fatigue test piece was designed, and the high cycle fatigue test of the test piece treated by the ultrasonic shot peening strengthening process was carried out, and the experimental results were analyzed with the traditional shot peening results. Finally, the fatigue fracture was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, the evolution of microstructure was observed, and the fatigue damage failure mechanism was revealed.
