Abstract:
In order to clarify the flow stress-strain relationship of die-cast ZA8 zinc alloy at high temperature and high strain rate, the quasi-static compression, Hopkinson compression bar and high temperature compression tests were carried out.The Johnson-Cook dynamic constitutive parameters were obtained by fitting the test data, and the parameters validity was verified by compression finite element simulation. The results show that the die-cast ZA8 zinc alloy has a significant strain rate strengthening effect and thermal softening effect. Under the same strain, the flow stress increases with the increase of strain rate, and decreases with the increase of temperature. The compression simulation results are in high agreement with the experimental data, which proves that the constitutive parameters have good reference value.
