喷丸表面强化对地铁端部底架用SUS301L不锈钢疲劳裂纹扩展行为的影响

    Effect of Shot Peening Strengthening on Fatigue Crack Growth Behavior of SUS301L Stainless Steel for Subway End Underframe

    • 摘要: 为了研究喷丸强化对材料疲劳裂纹扩展行为的影响,以地铁端部底架用SUS301L不锈钢为研究对象,采用紧凑拉伸试样进行了SUS301L不锈钢不同时间喷丸处理后的疲劳裂纹扩展试验。通过断口形貌特征、显微硬度、金相组织和残余应力分析,探讨了喷丸时间对其疲劳裂纹扩展行为的影响机制。结果表明:疲劳裂纹扩展速率随喷丸时间的延长而降低,尤其在ΔK(应力强度因子范围)较小时,喷丸20 min的裂纹扩展速率较喷丸5 min降低至25%,较未处理试样降低至20%。裂纹扩展速率的降低主要归结于喷丸处理在SUS301L不锈钢表面引起马氏体转变、晶粒细化和引入残余压应力。

       

      Abstract: In odder to investigate the effect of shot peening strengthening on fatigue crack growth behavior, taking SUS301L stainless steel for the bottom frame of the subway end as study object, the fatigue crack growth experiment of SUS301L stainless steel was carried out after SP treated for different time using compact tensile(CT) specimen. Fracture morphologies feature, microhardness, optical microstructures and residual stress were analyzed to discuss the effect of SP treatment time on fatigue crack growth mechanism. The results show that the fatigue crack growth rates(FCGR) decrease with the increase of the SP treatment time. Especially at the low ΔK(stress strength factor range), the FCGR after SP treated for 20min is as low as 25% comparing to 5 min, and 20% comparing to untreated specimen. The enhancement of fatigue crack resistance is due to the martensite transformation, grain refine and compressive residual stress in the surface layer induced by SP treatment.
