超声滚压对热处理Ti-6Al-4V表面摩擦性能的影响

    Effect of Ultrasonic Rolling on Surface Friction Properties of Heat-treated Ti-6Al-4V

    • 摘要: 采用超声滚压工艺(URP)对热处理Ti-6Al-4V合金进行表面强化,并分析了热处理Ti-6Al-4V合金经超声滚压后材料表层微观结构的变化和微动摩擦性能。结果表明:热处理工艺增加了α相的占比,材料显微硬度提高到345 HV,屈服强度达到886 MPa;经URP处理后显微硬度增加到457 HV,残余应力值降低为-725 MPa,同时材料的表面粗糙度减小为0.17μm,材料表层最小晶粒尺寸为亚微米。热处理试样经URP处理后呈现了较低的摩擦系数(CoF)和较小的磨损面积,所以热处理材料经超声滚压后具有更好的耐磨性。

       

      Abstract: Surface strengthening of heat-treated Ti-6Al-4V alloy was carried out by ultrasonic rolling process(URP), and the changes of the microstructure and fretting friction properties of surface layer of the heat-treated Ti-6Al-4V alloy after ultrasonic surface rolling were analyzed. The results show that the heat treatment process significantly increases the proportion of α phase, the microhardness is increased to 345 HV, and the yield strength of the material reaches 886 MPa. After URP treatment, the microhardness is increased to 457 HV, the residual stress value is decreased to-725 MPa, and the surface roughness of the material is decreased to 0.17 μm. The minimum grain size of material surface layer is sub-micron. The heat-treated sample shows the lower CoF and smaller wear area after URP treatment. This indicates that the heat-treated material after ultrasonic rolling has better wear resistance.
