Abstract:
The acceleration of the strategy for developing a strong maritime country has set higher standards for ship construction. Laser-arc hybrid welding, as an innovative welding technique, laser welding with arc welding was integrated. It possesses the advantages of high welding efficiency, minimal post-weld deformation, a broad scope of application, and a high degree of intelligent integration, and is gradually being promoted and applied in the fields of shipbuilding and ocean engineering. The development and current research status of laser-arc hybrid welding technology were reviewed, the mechanism of laser-arc hybrid welding was elucidated, and the main types of marine laser-arc hybrid welding as well as the current state of its engineering application in shipbuilding were outlined. The advantages and limitations of its application in shipbuilding were analyzed, the future development trends and research directions were discussed, which aims to provide references for the application of laser-arc hybrid welding technology in the field of shipbuilding industry.
