Abstract:
The water qual ity characteristics of underground water in mining areas located in northwest and southwest China and the working environment of shearer were summarized. The corrosion and wear failure behavior of sliding shoes were summarized, the failure correlation mechanism was also analyzed. Based on this premise, a comprehensive review was conducted on the research progress of surface modification technologies, which includes matrix surface quenching, welding wear-resistant layer and cladding with wear-resistant coatings. The technical characteristics of medium frequency and high-frequency quenching techniques, along with welding wear-resistant layer techniques were summarized. Furthermore, their existing problems and limitations in practical applications were analyzed. The latest research findings on iron-based,nickel-based and ceramic composite coatings for safeguarding shearer sliding shoes were deeply analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of these three coatings were evaluated based on coating thickness, interface bonding strength, microstructure and wear resistance. The shortcomings of the existing research were also discussed so as to provide references for the development of shearer slipper surface protection technology.
