Abstract:
Material genome engineering is a new material research and development model that uses modern information technologies such as big data technology, machine learning and data mining to quickly process, analyze and apply material data which includes material calculations data, efficient experiments and characterization data, production processes data,service and failure evaluations data and so on, so that improve the efficiency of new material research or improvement, and reduce the cost of material research or improvement. In recent years, the United States and other developed countries have accelerated the deployment of material genome projects and carried out a lot of research work, which has promoted the development of material genome concepts and technologies. The research progress of material genome engineering in China and foreign countries, the overall planning layout of genome engineering of rare and precious metal materials of Yunnan Province, the progress of the research platform construction, the key technology research, the new material research and the engineering application of genome engineering of rare precious metal materials were summarized. Combined with the innovation and development requirements of new rare and precious metal materials industry, the future research focus suggestions of genome engineering of rare and precious metal materials were put forward.
