Abstract: Magnetic Barkhausen noise（MBN） technology is a traditional non-destructive testing method. The current research achievements of MBN technology in stress non-destructive testing of ferromagnetic materials were summarized. The applications of MBN in tensile and compressive stress detection, subtractive manufacturing inspection, additive manufacturing inspection, and its integration with other technical methods were expounded. In the future development, MBN stress detection technology should be deeply integrated with other detection technologies and artificial intelligence technology, and develop towards a higher degree of accuracy and intelligence.
