Abstract:
Crack propagation analysis is an important part of damage tolerance analysis, which is of great significance to the safety of aircraft structures. Different crack propagation analysis methods of Paris, Forman, Walker and NASGRO were studied, and the applicability was given. By studying different crack propagation rate models, the literature data and experimental fitting data were used respectively, the theoretical crack propagation analysis was carried out by using the rapid integral method, the results were compared with those of standard specimen crack growth tests. The results show that the analysis results of the Paris, Forman and Walker models are not conservative, the Walker model is the minimum distortion model, and the NASGRO crack propagation analysis model is conservative. The results are of guiding significance for the selection of crack propagation analysis methods and the fitting of material data.
