Compared with traditional process, three-dimensional printing technology (3DP) printing sand molds (cores) has obvious advantages and great development potential in casting process development or single-piece small batch production of complex castings.In recent years, the research and application of 3DP in the field of sand casting has developed rapidly, and it has become a hot topic with much attention.3DP was introduced, and the research and application status of 3DP printing sand molds (cores) was reviewed.The existing problems and research and development application prospects were discussed.
