Application of First Principles in Aluminum Alloy Research

Based on the application of first-principles calculation in the research of aluminum alloy materials in China and abroad in recent years, the research progress of first-principles calculation based on density functional theory in the structural parameters, stability, and mechanical properties of aluminum alloy phase were expounded. Finally, the problems existing in the application of first-principles calculation in aluminum alloy research were discussed and its development was prospected.
