Abstract
Homogenized CrCoNi medium entropy alloy was rolled at room temperature and low temperature (77 K) for three passes, respectively, with the total deformation of 50%. The effect of room temperature and low temperature rolling on the microstructure and texture of the alloy was studied. The experimental results show that HCP transformation occurs in a small amount of FCC in the alloy, and the transformation is more obvious at low temperature, and the surface convex phenomenon is observed. A small amount of Σ3 annealing twins remains in the microstructure after room temperature rolling, while a small amount of Σ3 annealing twins remains in the microstructure after low temperature rolling. There is obvious tensile anisotropy in RD and TD directions. The (111)<110>(E) texture is formed in the //RD direction of the specimens at room temperature. Low temperature sample forms (110)<111>(texture A), (110)<001>(Goss texture) in //RD direction, the highest tensile strength direction is //TD.
