Current Status and Discussion on Remetling Method of Revert Superalloy Scrap

Superalloys are frequently utilized in extremely high-temperature environments due to their excellent mechanical properties. With the rapid growth in demand for superalloys in aerospace and high-end equipment manufacturing sectors，the supply-demand contradiction for superalloys has emerged as major challenges hindering industrial development. The recycling and reuse of superalloy scrap has become a breakthrough point for addressing resource bottleneck and a pathway towards sustainable development，which has important value. The purification treatment of superalloy scrap, vacuum remelting, quality control of the remelting recycling process were overviewed, and the research current status in China was introduced. The recycling process based on practical production experiences was discussed.
